Crossroads Baptist Church has been blessed to partner with Thrive Community Church in Palm Springs, Florida since 2024. This mission trip opportunity is offered to everyone but has a focus on our youth program. Thrive Community Church is a multi-cultural church that offers its facility to a wide variety of ethnic groups. They have services in Creole, Spanish, Korean, and Arabic just to name a few. This experience offers the
students a glimpse of Revelation 7:9 (… from every nation and tribe and people and language, standing in front of the throne and before the Lamb).

Our work there has focused on facility demo and construction, painting, kids camp, tree removal and grounds beautification, Vacation Bible School, and door-to-door evangelism. The students learn life lessons like hard work, situational awareness, safety, teamwork, and resilience during the construction and ground beautification work. They learn public speaking skills, leadership, and gain confidence as they lead kids camp and VBS camp. They gain confidence in sharing the gospel with door-to-door evangelism.
